Right across the street is the Museum of Glass. Marinha Grande is famous for glass making and the Museo do Vidro is wonderful. Cafes and wonderful pizza are nearby. We liked the sports club also! The room was minimal but quite artsy.

The room in which I stayed in, exceeded my expectations. It has not only a bed, but a cute balcony, a couch, desk, small table, and a small kitchen with mini fridge. Including extra toilet paper if needed. The shared kitchen and bathroom down the hall, was exceptionally clean and tidy. A note, contact the landlord beforehand what time you will check in - because there isn’t a reservation desk. Highly recommend for solo travelers whenever in Caldas da Rainha.
