My heart ♥ is always with the ethnic peoples in Thailand. They suffered so much over the centuries by various regimes and government. Many people who come to Chiang Rai town will always support the BaanChivitMai Bakery. It's a coop to help the ethnic peoples, especially the children. When in Chiang Rai, don't forget to visit the Golden Triangle, the pride of Chiang Rai province. Pay a visit to the Doi Tung Coffee farms and buy some coffee beans, it's good for the community. Another great place is the Mae Fah Luang Arboretum - the park is a garden of magnificent flowers in a mixture of hilly shrubbery that colours the landscape in a picturesque manner. Of course, the Golden Triangle is the birth of the opium industry, and the House of Opium or Opium House will rejuvenate your curiosity. Of course, in Chiang Rai town, the White Temple is a must and if you have time the Blue Temple as well. At night, walk to the clock tower that chimes in colours, and that will forever nestled your memories with delight and longing for more...

Every room is fitted with a shared bathroom with slippers, while some rooms will provide you with a balcony and others also provide guests with city views. We’ve travelled a good bit of SE Asia and this place was high up there with the best I’ve stayed in. The older woman couldn’t really speak English but always had google translate up to give us recommendations and help. The younger lady was always on the other side of the phone/WhatsApp with excellent English if required. She even helped us get from the bus stop to the homestay via bike taxi as we only realised on the journey to Mae Sariang that they’re likely wasn’t public transport. We rented a scooter from them also for the day (only 200 baht) and was very cool. Rooms were lovely, air con and lovely balcony area. Unlimited tea/coffee and bananas there also. Just such a homely place

super cheap, lovely & helpful staff! great location. dorm room was very big. in general was a great short stay. I’d recommend to other backpackers!
Best hostel in Chiang Mai :) Nuy is amazing, she will make you feel like home. Best food (breakfast) and (dinner) and is all included for the cheapest price you’ll pay in Chiang Mai, you’ll get also a bicycle for free and motorbike with extra discount.
The hostel is perfect for how cheap it is. I was in a girls only room and felt safe in there.
The best hostel I stayed in during my trip. the design is beautiful, the place is extremely clean, it’s less than a minute from the bus station. The owner and staff were absolutely lovely, trusting and took great care of me. I loved that there are laundry facilities and a cute kitchen and hang out area. I always felt my stuff was safe. Note that there are strict house rules. The hostel also offered some very comprehensive tours of Chiang Mai’s attractions
Cheap, budget hostel
For this money really good!!! if you travel on a budget do this hostel, it’s cheap and not far worse than more expensive ones. Location is AMAZING.
it’s a nice, clean hostel that is well located. The beds are totally fine and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Surrounded by everything a Backpacker needs… (cheap restaurants, nice coffee place next door) The price is absolutely fair!
Lovely room and great location. Second time we have stayed here. The pool is a great asset also. People come and go during the day so never an issue with sunbeds 🙂. More backpackers in the hostel this year probably due to the legalisation of cannabis listening to the poolside conversations!! Rooms very comfortable and cleaned daily. Free shower gel/liquid soap/shampoo and conditioner. Would definitely stay here again.
great location super nice staffs cheap price compare to its facilities i will definitely come back here best hostel ever stayed.
