The Entrance is a beautiful place with lovely views and local people. There are great shops to walk along and browse and plenty of options for something to eat and drink. There's a great children's playground and a water park feature also. There is also timed sessions for Pelican feedings. Definitely recommend The Entrance, it is a great family friendly place to stay.

This beachside town has suffered similarly to many others in the off tourist season with many premises being closed down, dirty streets and hoodlum car operators driving around. Whilst we were able to enjoy some good service from eateries attended the general feel of the town is not overly pleasant, possibly added to by not so great weather during our visit.

The Entrance looks tired.
The Entrance looks tired. It has so much potential but many of the motels are old or unloved. There was no opportunity to paddle board and all the boats for hire looked like they needed some upgrades. There seems to be very little development happening.
We loved eating in all the local restaurants and I’m glad that the permanent shade shelters have been installed outside most restaurants.

The Entrance is a like finding gold in a gold mine.
The Entrance is a like finding gold in a gold mine. Its such a beautiful place, whether you are caravanning, camping or holidaying in a resort or apartment it suits everyone's needs. offers so much and often above your expectations. Its a place you find and want to come back every year to build memories. GREAT PLACE TO HOLIDAY AT, AND POSSIBLY A GREAT PLAVE TO EVEN LIVE IN, IF HAD THE OPPORTUNITY.

The Entrance waterfront and restaurants are great but further afield, things aren't the way they used to be. Many shops have closed and those that hadn't, open late. There is not one good bakery for example.

Nice place with great scenery and beaches almost everywhere...
Nice place with great scenery and beaches almost everywhere you go. Quite laid back. Unfortunately we did see the memorial part come to life as activities were cancelled for the weekend we were there. Overall it is a great place to go to with family for a short holiday.
Our room was on the ground floor with a small lawned area overlooking the ocean. Very nicely refurbished. Room was large and had everything needed.
Map shows a road between the property and the ocean. This is more of a laneway and carries little if any road traffic.
Hotel has a very nice restaurant within the property - very handy.
Property is a little way out of The Entrance but that is probably a good thing. Nice and quiet with the sound of the ocean prominent.
This is the home away from home motel. My room was really lovely, sleeping on a cloud, everything you would need is there. This place has the little things that make it home. A bookshelf with a couple of books, enough tea coffee etc for many. Complimentary milk was lovely, not the long life package stuff. Air freshener in the toilet, a big bathmat, just like home. I would recommend staying here, and if i need to stay at the entrance again, I will stay here
This hostel is spotlessly clear with friendly staff and in a wonderful location. Nearby are perhaps a dozen restaurants with international food. Within easy walking distance there is a beach with lifeguards in season. The seaside is lined with $200+ a night luxury accommodation but you only pay about $35 for the same attractions. The kitchen had everything you would want. You can park within metres of the rear entrance.
Driving Falls Creek to Brisbane so just needed a place to sleep halfway for 6 hours or so and this was perfect. Value for money for a clean bed with hot shower (shared) but just what I was after. Holly, the manager, was friendly and very helpful when I needed an extension lead to charge my phone as the power points were to close to the floor to use my only charger which was oversize with multiple USB ports.
Room was quiet and comfortable. Very convenient to local services, the beach and The Entrance shops and cafes.
Pleasant walkways along the lake a few blocks to the rear of the hotel. The breakfast facilities and staff were very good. The local club facilities adjoin the hotel and provide these services via a convenient walkway. Front desk staff were keen and helpful.
The location of Nesuto is fantastic, being less than a minute walk to the waterfront (through the adjacent property) where all the Entrance restaurants, bars and shops are located. There is also a very large terrace on the 4th floor where you can watch sunset and go in the plunge pool (as it is too small to be referred to as a swimming pool).
Great clean hotel. Nice check in experience. The lady working was so fun and easy to get along with. The bridge to the club was great allowing the kids to go play while adults enjoy a drink and some dinner.
Most comfortable bed in all hotels I stayed in this little getaway.
Will be back highly recommended.
It was very clean. I liked how they made themselves available to check me in outside of hours, that was nice. They're very friendly. Nice local beach across the road. They've setup a nice place to sit down as an outdoor area. You can tell they work hard at it.
It was close to the beach the local surf club was near by and had a Cafe which was nice the Bateau Bay bowling club is within walking distance and have good lunch time menu and the staff there are very helpful
Fantastic location right in front of the ocean baths and 15 minute walk to the Entrance shops. Room was clean and spacious, beautiful balcony view onto the beach and spa bath was a perfect way to enjoy the view
We’ve stayed here several times and love the location and accommodation. Cabins are newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable with a short walk to the beach.Very friendly staff too.
Location suitable for conference but isolated from shopping for example shopping and choice of restaurants at The Entrance. Choice of accommodation was too limited for our needs.
Loved the cleanliness of the room. And so accommodating for our dog!! Very friendly staff who went out of the way to check us in after hours and make us so welcome
Some confusion with key pick up. Went to mail box as instructed from email but found in lock box which read as “out of hours” collection
Otherwise lovely stay!
Very impressed with how clean the shared bathroom was. The property was very tidy and the food in the hotel was delicious. The hotel is family friendly.
