The hotel is located right across from the Ringwood train station and it is also on top of a big shopping centre which is handy. The hotel is also driving distance to many restaurants in surrounding suburbs like Doncaster and Box Hill etc.

We visited darrell Lee chocolate factory shop. Eastland 4 times for lunch and the kids wanted to shop. The kids wanted to go to Rush HQ. They enjoyed seeing family close by and see family twice a year. The Nightcap in Manhattan all you can eat was a blast went twice as it was fantastic.

A quirky motel in a location that suited my purposes. Definitely useful for those on a budget but don't expect too much. Would stay here again. Proprietor, Max, is a battler taking on most tasks himself and is very obliging. Some rooms appeared to be undegoing renovation. Facilities are basic.

Comfortable with room to move. Close to cafes an restaurants after a long trip . On a return we would try for a ground floor apartment as we are elderly. This time we had younger family members to assist with luggage on the stairs.

Centrally located for Eastern Melbourne suburbs - we found this a perfect base to attend a wedding in Kangaroo Ground, visit family in Warrandyte, Mitcham and Mt Waverley, get some equipment serviced in Ferntree Gully and visit mum in hospital in Mornington. Super close to the Eastlink toll road which takes you everywhere east of Melbourne. The Eastland Shopping Centre is impressive for an out-of-towner - supermarkets, fashion, food court, restaurants!. The leafy suburbs put on a beautiful show of greenery and flowers, could even hear some birds singning.

Check in and out was quick and efficient. Really like the room, bed is comfortable and is spacious enough for 2 people. Room was furnished and presented well and though the bathroom was small, it was not an issue. Water pressure was good and shower was very clean. The lounge area next to the lobby is also very nicely set up and is a cosy and comfortable area to have a sit and a chat. Would definitely recommend Sage Hotel to family and friends. Car parking is $10 per day and you are permitted to come and go multiple times.

The management have only been at Motel Ringwood 3 days when we arrived. Unfortunately they have been left with a mess. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable as possible with the surcomstancers. They have started to make improvements. People need to give them time to get the motel up to a 3 star rating again. If we travel to the area again we would go back.

We arrived ridiculously late after a party so early hours (1am). So unfortunately we didn't get to use many of the stunningly beautiful facilities at this hotel. But, the bed was very comfortable, Everything was really well appointed - ie , the shower, bathroom sitting area etc. The view was fabulous and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

Unlike a motel, the property is great during COVID as has lots of ventilation, you can open windows and doors. It has cooking facilities and is very clean and modern. Good air-conditioning in all areas. Has secure garage. Owner quickly contactable and fix any issues. Location was excellent as close to shops, station and Ringwood Lake.

This is a new hotel with nice, spacious, clean rooms. The decor is tasteful and there are plenty of amenities. The bed was super comfortable and the location is excellent. The train to the city is 250 metres away. There are lots of good places to eat and Eastland is across the road. Undercover parking for $10 a day was a bonus.

Loved our stay at The Sebel Ringwood! The rooms are beautifully designed with high quality, luxury fittings. It was exceptionally good value for money for what you get - the room was huge which was great with our two little kids. The restaurant down stairs was great for breakfast too. Loved everything about this place!

Had a wonderful stay here. Clean, comfortable room with good facilities and ample space. Parking available on site (in the Eastland parking). Beautiful set up for bar and reception area, liked the design and the shelves with the books. Convenient location within a short walk to Eastland and Ringwood station.
