Company info

Hi, I'm Tarni and I've taken a break from the busy world of television production and Clive has moved on from a motorcycycle racing career, boat building and electric car manufacture. Our welcome tree change has been spent renovating and restoring Islay House - a fabulous labour of love and 18 months 'on the tools!" Before moving to Woodend we were hosting in Port Melbourne for 10 years and really enjoy meeting people, sharing a story or two and making sure our guests have everything they need when they stay with us. Islay House is a whole new adventure and we are loving it! One thing to be aware of is the stairs to the first floor are a bit steep but the hand rail is very sturdy and we always take your luggage up and down for you. We look forward to welcoming you to Islay House.

Property info

Only five minutes walk from the town centre and fifty minutes from Melbourne, Islay House has five gracious bedrooms sleeping up to 9 people. A sun-filled morning room presents a delicious breakfast of local produce and the doors open onto the oak shaded garden for a delighful wander. Sit by the pond with a cuppa, chat to the chooks, we look forward to greeting you when you join us for your relaxing escape, family get together or time with friends. Come and enjoy. One night will not be long enough.
