Good location self contained quiet and clean with easy access. Only issue was the keypad lock needs to be replaced. Had to communicate with owner's representative to gain access. suggested to him stop fixing the existing key pad with a new one.

Although there was not much snow in Oz this year, Mount Buller had a couple of lovely slopes. Of course it was crowded, all skiers and snowboarders on four slopes but people were considerate and cautious. Queueing at lifts for groups can easily be approved by reducing the three side lanes for single/private/ski school to two (singles & private/school combined), or by doing what Thredbo does: group of three, add one single, group of four get on. In Mount Buller the groups seem to have to wait till the single/private/ski school lane are empty before a group can enter the lift.

Loved all the cafes
We tried lots, sublime point - woody's mulled mine lovely and view amazing. Loved the garage half way up sitting outside with an amazing mountain view and fire. Loved the free shuttle would have been nice if it contined down the mountain to the snow dogs - $50 ,for a taxi for a couple of min seemed a bit stiff. Loved the live music in the village centre - we had a lovely lunch of chicken roll and salad we bought at the supermarket along with disposable cutlery plates and enjoyed a winter " picnic " in the village - one of the highlights
.we loved our visit to the aust sled dogs our time with huskies was amazing - could easily have taken a couple home 😊

Mt Buller was fabulous.
Mt Buller was fabulous. Travelling to Mt Buller was surprisingly easy, the road up the mountain is very well maintained. The Mt Buller app made finding info very easy. The transport app made booking transport and reviewing bookings a breeze. There are lots of different food options on the mountain. It was like a winter wonderland.

If enjoying the wonders of nature through skiing, hiking or mountain bike riding is your thing, then Mt. Buller is for you. Lots of great tracks, fabulous MTB trails (in summer) and skiing in winter. The village is surrounded by attractive chalets set between the snow gums. Beautiful views.

Beautiful; serenity and picturesque.
Beautiful; serenity and picturesque. We did go off peak though. We loved it because we’re not into snow holidays. Very close to Mansfield, which is a bustling little town. Staying at Mt Buller, you are also spoilt because there’s beautiful lakes and picnic areas you can drive to around this region for day trips. We actually went for a dip in the river at a place not far from Mt Buller.

All staff on mountain were happy to help.
All staff on mountain were happy to help.
It’s an expensive holiday with all restaurants serving same food, like burger chips etc.
Save money by hiring your ski gear at hotel. Avoid hiring gear from Mansfield as it very expensive
From the moment you walk in to the moment you sadly leave Jo and Frank make you feel like you are coming to stay with family. They look after you making you feel at home straight away, whilst allowing you to settle in and make it you’re own experience also. The renovations are so tastefully done with great thought into layout and workmanship that it feels like a real mountain escape and not just a hotel you pay millions to stay at.
Stuart at reception was great! Super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Location is probably the best around, right in front of the village. Bed and pillows were also super confy and we even got a bit of a view from our bedroom.
We were newbies on the snow, so had no idea how useful a dry room is, great perk from the hotel having both the ski and dry rooms.
Personal greeting on arrival, very modern and comfortable place. Exceptional location - next to the chair lift, shops and bus terminal. Very comfortable ski room with own entrance!!! Good WiFi, restaurant inside!
Very friendly staff, especially Stuart - hotel manager - thank you!!!
We left our luggage inside after check-out and ski one more day!
Location was good and staff were friendly snd helpful. Only thing was room was alot smaller than pictured and had a smell when we first entered. Listing stated there were coffee making facilities but this is not accurate. The coffee making facilities were in a communal pantry in the hotel not in the rooms. TV totally didn't work.
- Rooms are clean and cozy. Just enough space for three people.
- Reasonably priced.
- Hotel located at top of summit. Great to start your downhill ski run.
- Nice little coffee shop inside hotel.
- Continental breakfast included.
- Staff helpful in hotel.
Fantastic hotel. Just what you want for a ski holiday. Perfect location - truly ski in and ski out, friendly staff, beautiful authentic restaurant for breakfast. Nothing bad to say about this place. We'll be back... if there's any rooms available!
The staff is lovely , breakfast and dinner was fantastic , the only thing hotel need to upgrade is the hot water system , took a lease 10 mins to get the hot water and the water is not hot enough for the cold winter shower
Great value for family - Excellent location halfway up bourke st run and great staff - helpful and friendly. Keep in mind its a lodge and not a hotel and you do have some responsibilites and you will have a great time.
Room was clean and decent, towels provided. Water pressure was okay. Alright for the price considering most places on Mount Buller are very exxy. Staff was kind and helped us with our ski hires very patiently
Friendly, clean & great location. Superb food at hotel restaurant. Pricey but worth it if looking for something special. Need to book ahead of trip. Interior a bit dated but great for family of 5.
Very friendly staff that makes my stay a memorable experience. The food were excellent. Also love the cozy alpine atmosphere and location of this boutique hotel. Highly recommended !
We stayed in apartment 602. It was really clean . Great location . The staff at the Chalet Apartments were great and very responsive to our needs and our questions.
Was clean etc and location. Spa was good also. Was good but staff apart from the Receptionist didn’t say hello at breakfast or when passing them in the hotel.
