Located on the magnificent Great Ocean Road featuring spectacular views, this is a must-stay spot. Marengo Family Caravan Park is located 2km outside the Apollo Bay township, overlooking the ocean, it is the perfect place for you and your family to holiday. Marengo is just 2 hours’ drive from Geelong, or 3 hours’ drive from Melbourne. The park enjoys full beach frontage and is adjacent to the Marengo Reef Marine Sanctuary with resident Seal Colony, ideal for swimming, diving and snorkelling. Or just unwind in our cosy park and enjoy the sound of the ocean in the background. Offering a range of facilities including updated playground, camp kitchen, BBQ area and laundry (with washing machines & dryers). Our park is dog-friendly year-round, including in cabins.

Neighborhood info

Marengo and the surrounding Otway National Park is a mecca for nature-based activities including some unique experiences such as walking through nearby Melba Gully rainforest at night to check out resident Glow Worms. Hike the Great Ocean Walk between Apollo Bay and the Twelve Apostles. Or snorkel or dive Marengo Reefs Marine Sanctuary with resident Seal Colony. Situated at the beginning of the Great Ocean Walk, and an excellent base to explore the nearby Otway’s and surrounds, the park offers unlimited scope for formal bushwalking trails. Fishing is an important local industry so seafood is often on the menu at the local cafes and restaurants. Take a short stroll into Apollo Bay and try a few out. Weekend visitors will love the regular Saturday foreshore market for local crafts, artworks, and fresh produce.
