The room was large, but cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was hot and the pressure was good. The breakfast was great and good value for money. There was a flight of stairs to our room, but easy...

In all fairness, we did know it was a “loft”, we just weren’t aware of how very steep the stairs were, that my elderly parents found hard to navigate.

Loved the remote check in, took the pressure off confirming an arrival time as I wasn't sure how late into the night I would be. I absolutely loved the location - didn't make it to the included breakfast as got pulled away by the many nearby local...

We stayed on a Sunday night and the hotel was not busy. We enjoyed the privilege of taking our own food and wine onto the dining room terrace and watching the sunset. The sitting room was also very comfortable.

It’s so clean and welcoming. I love the decor and how traditional it feels. It’s located in the perfect spot on the Main Street. It was so comfortable and Cindy was just the nicest and sweetest host. We can’t wait to be back!

Travelled from the UK for a wedding nearby, lovely boutique hotel, with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, spotlessly clean and comfortable with on site parking.

Company info

Hi, I’m Cindy — the proud host of The Bronte Boutique Hotel here in beautiful Morpeth! I’m delighted to welcome guests from near and far to this special corner of the world. I took over The Bronte with a deep appreciation for its rich history and timeless charm, and I love being able to share that experience with others. One of my greatest joys is helping people feel relaxed, welcomed, and looked after during their stay. Whether you’re here for a peaceful escape, visiting loved ones, or exploring the Hunter region, I want your time at The Bronte to feel like a home away from home. When I’m not busy preparing your breakfast boxes or making sure everything is just right in the rooms, I enjoy exploring vintage design, local markets, and 1970s fashion (which has even inspired a clothing project I’m working on!). I’m also always happy to offer tips on the best spots to eat, shop, and unwind around town. You might see me in the evenings preparing breakfast upstairs, and I’m always happy for a chat if you need anything — or simply want a local recommendation. I understand the value of privacy and quiet, but know that I’m just a message away if you need help. Thank you for choosing The Bronte. I look forward to making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Warm wishes, Cindy
