Having lived in this area for around 20 years, we know the area inside and out. We came here for our love of outdoor sports and still marvel at the beauty of the Jungfrau region every day. We love snowsports, mountain biking, trail running and hiking. We love to share our favorite places with our guests and we make an effort to meet all our guests personally. We are happy to have the opportunity to help you have the best holiday possible.

Recently renovated, the apartment has all the comforts you would wish for in a home away from home.The open plan living/dining/kitchen area offers plenty of space to include all family members comfortably. Meals can be prepared in our well equipped open plan kitchen. There's a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and of course a fondue set. The Dining table sits 6 persons and upon request we can provide you with a high chair. The flatscreen TV has channels in many languages, there's a blue ray DVD player and you may log into your Netflix account if you wish too, but you may be too busy enjoying the views from the large french doors. The bathroom has a spacious walk in shower and double wash basins. It is equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. A large outdoor lounge will allow you to take in the stunning views and you can eat "al fresco" with waterfall views. In the summertime, you can even cool your feet in the small stream nearby. The master bedroom has a large queen sized bed and the second bedroom has twin beds that can be pushed together if necessary. A crib can be provided on request.

Lauterbrunnen is at the bottom of a deep U-valley, lined with sheer rock-faces and snow capped peaks. This is the famous ‘Valley of the Waterfalls’. Did you know that Lauterbrunnen was the inspiration for the incredible fantasy location "middle earth" in JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings! Activities include summertime hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning and more. The winter snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing and sledging, making Lauterbrunnen a popular year-round destination. Nestled between Murren and Wengen, you will never be more than a few minutes away from the ski lifts. There is a network of cable cars that will whisk you up to slopes and pistes catering to all ages and abilities. Whether you need plenty of snow to enjoy your favourite sport or you’d rather explore the Swiss Alps under hot summer sunshine and clear blue skies. The choices are endless when it comes to finding fun an adventure in the Bernese Oberland.
