LOCAL TAX RULES: In accordance with local tax laws, all Colombian citizens and resident foreigners are required to pay a 19% VAT surcharge. This VAT surcharge is not included in the accommodations rates and must be paid separately.
To be exempt from this 19% VAT surcharge, guests must have a TP12 visa or a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, or TP11 stamp when entering the country. The exemption only applies to accommodations fees. The permit must be shown upon arrival.

In accordance with Colombian law 679 of 2001, law 1.336 of 2009, and resolution 3.840 of 2009, child sexual exploitation is illegal.
