We would like to welcome you in our freshly renovated modern apartment in a historical building (1930s) located in the very center of Prague just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town Square and 3-minute walk from Republic Square. In spite of the immediate vicinity of numerous shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs and other amenities, the apartment itself is very quiet because of its position in inner courtyard. Due to the great location of the apartment, you will be able to explore most of the city’s sights just walking on foot. Our apartment (40 m2) located on the 2nd floor (right above the ground floor) can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of: 1) entrance hall 2) main bedroom with comfortable double bed, flat screen TV with free Netflix and USB for your own media, closet and chest of drawers to comfortably store all your belongings 3) living room with pull out sofa (140 cm wide) + fully equipped kitchen corner (fridge with freezer, microwave, induction cooker, jug kettle, toaster, washing machine) + dining table for 4 people 4) bathroom with toilet and bathtub (towels, hairdryer included) Whole apartment is covered with free high-speed Wi-Fi internet connection.

Apartment Alex is the only apartment that our Prague-born family owns and operates and there always will be one of our family members to give you the keys and tell you as many Prague tips, stories and recommendations as you will like. This means a rare opportunity to enjoy true and authentic Prague experience and not just stay in one of many apartments that owns some distant landlord who charges professional companies to deal with his guests, which is unfortunately the prevailing model. Of course, if you’d like us just to give you the keys in ordinary hotel fashion, we’re absolutely ok with that as well. ;)

In the Republic Square there is Prague’s biggest and most popular shopping mall Palladium where you can park your car even for a long period of time (see below). Well supplied grocery store is in the house next door. You can reach the apartment very easily both by public transport (subway station “Namesti Republiky” 3 min walk, tram station “Dlouha trida” just 1 min walk) and by car. If you are coming by car - parking on the street is possible only 1 hour for 3 EUR but you can use parking garage in Palladium shopping mall which offers 24h rate for 27 EUR and 3-day rate for 66 EUR. They have a special parking machine on P2 floor used just for payments in EUR (in cash or by card). If you are coming by plane – public transport from the airport will take about 45-60 minutes (combination of bus and subway) or you can use one of Prague’s many taxi services like Uber or Taxify. If you are coming by train – transport from the Main Railway Station (“Hlavni nadrazi”) will take only 10 minutes by tram.
