At the same time is not completely "in the middle of nowhere" and there is a very good supermarket (the Minimarket Punta Mujeres) and very good restaurants. Yes, there are just a few bars and restaurants, but Lanzarote is small and any place could be reached in half an hour or less. It would be easy to stay in Punta de Mujeres without exploring anymore of Lanzarote. We hired a car but the bus service seemed excellent. It’s quite close to the ferry which takes you to La Graciosa and very close to Jameos del Agua and Cuevas de los Verdes - in fact it’s a lovely walk there along the coast. The lovely little town of Arrietia also within quite easy walking distance. It’s a very calm and peaceful area. It is located a minute from the beautiful Piscina natural del pichón, which we recommend you to swim in. The village of Punta Mujeres is a fantastic place to relax and in the natural pools you can watch the tides all day long. The view from the roof terrace was lovely. View of the sea one side and volcanoes the other side. The beds were very comfortable. It was in a good location in a quieter area of Lanzarote. The village had a supermarket nearby to walk to for basics and a few restaurants close by mainly open for lunchtimes which were good.
