Coming from The Netherlands, I have been visiting Andalusia very frequently for over 17 years. Every time I'm stunned by her beauty, the delicious food and the friendly people. My husband Steven and I fell in love with Málaga in oktober 2017. We decided to do something a little bit crazy and we bought an apartment in Málaga City Center. With a lot of effort and love, we fully renovated the apartment in to what it is today. In May of 2018 we welcomed our first guests. We liked a project like this so in 2022 we bought this old fishermans house. It took almost a year to completely renovate it and as from January 2023 it's available for rent. We love to go there with our son for our holidays and in the meantime we like others to enjoy it as well. Therefore you can rent it! We hope you like it and feel at home like we do. El Palo has traditionally been a fishing neighborhood on the beach. With many low-rise houses in pedestrian streets. It is part of the city of Malaga, but it feels more like a village. The local residents know each other and have often lived there for generations. There is a wide range of supermarkets, bakeries, greengrocers and all kinds of other shops in the area. There is also a cozy covered market where you can get fresh vegetables, fish and many other fresh products. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk from our house and consists of several bays. Everywhere along the boulevard you will find restaurants for a delicious lunch, dinner or drink. There are also many good restaurants in the neighborhoods behind the beach.
