Hotel Bro is centrally located and most of what we wanted to see and do is within walking distance . The hotel is modern and the decor is tasteful. The staff were so helpful at all times , especially Alberto. The free all day coffee is a nice touch too .

Very nice hotel in a great location. We found it on the internet hoping to be close to the Christmas lights - the show took place right outside the door. The marina was just across the street, and several points of interest were an easy walk. We were offered an upgrade for a fair price and accepted, which gave us a terrace and some other added perks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep the hotel in mind when we can return for a longer stay.

Where to begin? From the delightful reception staff of this exceptional establishment, with their warm welcome, outstanding service, friendly and attentive hospitality (special mentions although I know I must have missed some names: Javier, Ramón, Manuel, and Belen), to the beautiful room with the stylish and elegant decor and a very equipped bathroom with the best rain shower I have ever used - I also booked a room with a view and small balcony overlooking the gorgeous port so this was an added advantage and despite it overlooking the port, the soundproofing was so efficient I could hardly hear any noise from the outside - to the cleaning crew who alway left the room immaculately clean and smelling so fresh (also a special shout-out to Johana, Luz, Estrellé, and Vauesa) - to the location of the hotel, a mere two minutes away from the port promenade and then further down to Muelle Uno, and a short distance to the historic Center and main shopping street (Calle Larios). I stayed at Room Mate Valeria for a whole month and each week, when I came back to my hotel room, I would find a little something waiting for me as a nice gesture from the hotel staff, it was so cute. The hotel’s motto is “mi casa es su casa” (my home is your home) and they follow that motto to the letter. A didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment on that, but it is definitely a hotel you would love to stay at as your home away from home! Adios Málaga adios Room Mate Valeria, hasta que nos volvamos a ver 🥰

Alcazaba

This magnificent Moorish fortress was constructed during the 10th century, when Almería was named a 'medina' (city) by the Caliph of Córdoba. The grounds are beautiful, with fountains and gardens spreading out over the hilltop. As you explore, you'll look out over the ancient city and the sea.

We loved it- beautiful and calm small gardens & courtyards with stunning Moorish architecture. There are so many great photo opportunities but you need to be there early to take advantage of them, avoiding the crowds. If you intend to continue up the steep pathway to the Castle of Gibralfaro, be sure to hydrate well and take your time in the heat. It's quite challenging, even for enthusiastic walkers.

A total must when visiting Malaga. Beautiful views and lovely architecture. We had a joint ticket with the castle and walked down .. it was great value. Where sensible shoes as the cobbles can be slippery on the way down.

Visit Gibralfaro first as it's on the hilltop and walk down to Alcazaba - this makes the stroll much easier than what many the opposite, that many tourists do. Also take Uber or bus 35 to reach Gibralfaro rather than walking up the hill.

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it...

Alcazaba is probably worth seeing, but I did not think it was wonderful. It consists of a bunch of mostly empty rooms and areas. The layout is quite confusing, with lots of turns; it is deliberately confusing for defensive purposes according to our guide. The guide was not very good. She had clearly memorized a speech and got confused by questions.

Worth the visit.

Worth the visit. Less well know that it's big brother in Granada but very impressive and worth the visit. Really help to do your homework and get an understanding of the time & context of when the building was in use in order to understand how far ahead of the curve the Moorish occupation of southern Spain was & how they sparked the enlightenment period across Europe.

Well renovated apartment with modern furniture and utilities. Location was excellent, next to the city center, steps away. Always walked, everything near by, museum, alcazaba, calle larios, I mean location was excellent and the place modern. Also tv with thousands of channels on each bedroom and the living room! A treat. Had washer and dried. A very hot modern shower. Big fridge. Ac/heater. Wifi etc.

The location was perfect for a first visit to Malaga. It's at the heart of the old town, within walking distance to the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba, and countless dining places! The staff were also fantastic, especially Juan, who was always responsive and helpful with my questions. We thought my mother lost a piece of jewelry inside the apartment, and Juan accompanied us in the process of locating it (yes, it was eventually found)! I commend the staff of Casa Blanca for their dedicated customer service.

I have stayed before, I love the location and the view of the hotel. The location is perfect, rooms are quiet despite being opposite El Pimpi, and staff was friendly, and rooms clean. View is just superb on the Alcazaba It is also walkable to everywhere including the beach and I swam every day even in November. The beach is clean and lovely with good restaurants

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of the Alcazaba and the Cathedral from our balcony (oddly, there were no chairs in the Balcony, although they're was plenty of room to accommodate them. . Breakfast was on the "light side" of offerings compared to our hotels in other areas of Andalucia, but still very good. The location was about a 10 minute walk through either a (pedestrian tunnel or a pleasant park) to the Alcazaba or the Plaza de Merced, parking was easy and close-by.

Note: if you put the address in Google, Malaka Room comes up - this is also reflected on the entry sign. Convenient check-in procedure - all online then sent the details for door codes to access building and room. Central location with easy walk to the Cathedral, Alcazaba, museums, and train station. Sheets and towel folded neatly on the bed upon arrival. Large closet with shelves and hangers. 6 rooms shared 2 bathrooms which were always clean and well-stocked. Never saw another guest, although could hear snoring through the walls.

Location was excellent. Apartment faces calle madre de dios, which is calm enough, but if you step out on the tiny balconies you get a great view of the Alcazaba and Pl de la Merced. We were travelling with small children and were able to fit the mattress from the sofa bed on the floor inside the bedroom so the four of us could sleep in the same room. Good Air conditioning and the windows provide good isolation from street noise and daylight.
