A very sweet small town - we had a wonderful dinner at Restaurante Al Horno with some of the biggest portions of meat fresh from a roaring grill we'd ever seen! It's a small town and quite easy to navigate on foot, as it is very small. Walking along main road not the easiest as footpath kept changing sides, however traffic was rarely heaving and limited to 50k/h so not really dangerous. We used the location as a base to explore the north of the island and didn't venture much within the town. While we had a car, the regular hourly bus - in both directions - seemed very reliable.
