Lovely old town, cobbled streets, lots of shops selling individual items, restaurants and bars. Beautiful, historic buildings. Fabulous extensive market held every Saturday selling local produce, clothes, wine etc. Very friendly people, easy to walk around.

Amazing historic town full of narrow alleyways.

Amazing historic town full of narrow alleyways. Like a set from Harry Potter! Easy to drive to coastal villages. Recommend Marseillan and Meze for charming ports and seafood. It was harder than expected to find good places to eat in the evening, but maybe this was due to it being end of season. Recommend La Pomme D’Amour and Italian restaurant Le Pezenas but not the ones in by the car park as you arrive. Good for little antique shops but the twice yearly Antique Fair/ Brocante was extremely overpriced for carboot type items!

Pezenas is all about the old town and the artisans that occupy the labyrinth of ancient streets oozing with history and charm. We happened to chance upon a three day celebration of Moliere and the 17th century which was a colourful and busy celebration through singing, music, theatre, food and wine from the region.

The main building was dirty and dingy, heavily stained carpets in the reception and room entry points. We booked a suite but had to go back to reception and ask for an alternative suite or room, if they hadn’t had one we would have left and took our chances to find somewhere else.

Pezenas is a small historic town with narrow cobbled streets and small squares with pretty water fountains. The buildings are tall, yellow stone with pretty shutters and beautiful ancient doors. There is plenty of choice to eat in friendly cafes and restaurants and lots of ice cream stalls. A bus station provides a good service for excursions but we chose to stay locally.

I booked this for my parents so they could spend a couple of days with my brother and his family in pezenas as they had not seen their granddaughter for 18 months and their new grandson who was born last year because of travel restrictions. By all accounts my parents loved la porte rouge and being able to spend time with their grandchildren. It was such a beautiful apartment just what they needed. The host was very friendly and waited for us to arrive as it took a bit longer to get to Pezenas from Beziers airport. Fantastic place.

Very good location in residential area with schools but less than a 10min walk to the historic centre of the town. So much to see and do and very good choice of bars and restaurants. Secure private parking a bonus. Also as the weather was very hot the crystal clear pool was a great extra. We used it every day. Very good choices at breakfast …buffet style. Hotel restaurant offers a very good lunch too. There is a small traiteur on site as well.

There were so many things to like about this property. Laure is an exceptional host. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, breakfast is light, but lovely. Laure’s family ifs beautiful and welcoming and her staff is great! It was great to be able to prepare a light dinner and enjoy it on the patio. Laure went above and beyond even taking us to the bus the day we left since taxis are very hard to come by.

the location is excellent, very close to the square and many restaurants and shops. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a quiet building. Mark has done a fabulous job of furnishing and decorating the place and it was very clean. it has a very comfortable living area and the kitchen is well stocked. Mark was easy to deal with and provided numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in and around Pezenas.

A good location near the market and heart of town. The historic old town is less than 5 minutes walk away. There are many good restaurant and cafe options near by. Good parking is available nearby for E3.50 a night and the car park is easy to find and handy to the motorway. Wifi was good. The host was very pleasant and helpful and even gave us a bottle of wine on arrival.

The house is unique: very tastefully decorated, extremely confortable, impeccably clean and at a superb location. It is even nicer than at the photos - and bigger than expected. The host is extremely accommodating and nice. We’ve been going to Pézenas for many years and this is the best house we’ve been. It is a 10! We’ll certainly be back.

The studio was impeccable. It was well appointed and warm. The decor was fresh and modern but kept the character of the building with exposed stone walls. The location was perfect near a little park and right in the centre of the town .We would certainly stay here again if we are in the area.
