The river in the garden with surrounding woods was like a little slice of heaven! Our dog enjoyed swimming in the river and I enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine while listening to the beautiful bird song. Within minutes of arriving I wished I had booked for a longer time 🥰. Patsy and John couldn't have welcomed us better. They are both very warm and friendly. The cottage is gorgeous and I slept like a log! I can't recommend this enough ❤️

1850's character stone cottage, cosy living room, fully fitted kitchen and dining room. King-size master bedroom and adult-sized bunk bedroom, spacious bathroom with bath over shower. Private picnic woodland riverside area with a variety of wild birds on the River Alyn, which is ideal for nature lovers. Local attractions include Theatre Clwyd, twice weekly markets in Mold. Llangollen 30 minutes drive away, "Park in the Past", Wrexham 15 minutes drive away, Chester 20 minutes drive away.
