If you're a surfer, you'll feel right at home catching the breaks with the locals, and if you're not, there are plenty of surf schools to get you standing on a board. Croyde itself has a lovely charm, with quaint thatched cottages, a village green, and a good selection of local pubs and tearooms. Pretty gardens, hanging baskets and potted shrubs dot the streets, so if you’re partial to a laid-back stroll after Sunday brunch or your cream tea, you’ll particularly enjoy Croyde’s lovely atmosphere as you wander around.
