Everything about this beautiful cottage was amazing. Facilities were exceptional, everything you could need and things you didn’t know you needed were provided. Emily was a great host. Photos are good but the cottage is even better in real life.

Cottage is completely self contained and has a large well equipped kitchen/diner. A comfortable lounge with log burner and French doors opening onto a secure garden and patio which leads to a much larger garden for games ect. The large garden is shared with the owners. Utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and downstairs toilet. The middle room consists of cupboards filled with Lego toys, games and books where adults can read while the children are playing. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with en-suite, bedroom one has double bed and bedroom two has one double bed and one single. Towels and bedding provided. There is wifi throughout and a TV in the living room and in both bedrooms. Ashwood Holiday Cottage is a self catering spacious semi-detached cottage nestling in a woodland setting. The property opens into a lovely bluebell wood. The Cottage is a perfect location to enjoy a rural autumn holiday with friends and family. On a crisp Autumn day light the fire pit and drink a glass of warm mulled wine or take a walk through the woods from the garden and all the many footpaths around the area
Shadoxhurst offers a local pub while a short drive away is Ashford with it's Designer Outlet Centre or you can take a high speed train to London or head to the coast towards Rye and Camber Sands, Dymchurch , Hythe, Dungeness which is classed as the only desert in the UK. The vineyard and winery of Gusbournes is just a short drive from the cottage, and makes a fantastic day out. Tenterden is also nearby and offers a range of restaurant, pubs, shops and the Chapel Down Vineyard. Take a trip on the Kent and Sussex steam railway, or should the weather turn inclement there is also an indoor Leisure pool and gym in Tentereden. Ashwood Holiday Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy a rural autumn holiday with friends and family. On a crisp Autumn day light the fire pit and drink a glass of warm mulled wine or taking a walk through the woods from the garden and all the footpath around the country side. There is plenty of things to do around the area.
