Property info

This lovely cottage is partially refurbished with new furnishings as completed in October 2019. This property is perfect for guests wanting outdoor space and storage, with an undercover car parking, and secure indoor storage for items such as bicycles or walking gear. St Clears has a good selection of local amenities and eateries, along with it's neighbouring town of Laugharne. This cottage is well presented and more than caters for a variety of holiday needs. There is also a beautiful "river walk" nearby, and a park with play area almost across the road. The house offers a large utility and storage area, and from here you enter a lovely well equipped kitchen/diner overlooking the courtyard garden. The well equipped kitchen is newly fitted and has all the mod cons. The welcoming living room, with an imitation fireplace, a TV and DVD player has a beautiful L shape sofa and further armchair seating. There is a small selection of DVD's and family games. There is a ground floor shower room, with upstairs presented as 3 good size bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king size beds and ample storage, with the third having a single bed and pull out trundle bed.

Neighborhood info

St Clears is a charming town with a good choice of coffee shops, a handful of pubs and restaurants. It is a small town perfectly located to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. It is 4 miles to Laugharne and 9 miles to Carmarthen. Laugharne is a small town sitting on the estuary of the Taf River and offers stunning estuary walks, including the infamous Dylan Thomas Birthday Walk. There are also plenty of woodland walks and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts nearby. It is an ancient town steeped in history, and a popular tourist destination with many great attractions in the area. With its easy accessibility to the M4, and prime location, also makes it a great base to visit Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The Boathouse, where Dylan and Caitlin lived with their children is now a heritage centre. Overlooking the estuary are the dramatic ruins of a Norman Castle, a popular visitor attraction. Laugharne is a charming sleepy town with a mixture of large Georgian houses and pretty small cottages, set amongst a good choice of cafes and restaurants, including the well known Browns
