We stayed here at this cottage at the same time last year for a short winter break, and enjoyed it very much so we wanted to come back. We had everything we needed for a short break and the cottage was cosy. We love Wirksworth, and Beehive Cottage is perfectly placed for easy access to cafes, restaurants, shops, and places to walk - without having to get in the car. But it's also close to the Peak District and other beautiful places to visit and walk. The Wirksworth Heritage Centre and National Stone Centre are both worth a visit for the exhibits but also the cafe/breakfasts too.

Beehive is a charming three-storey cottage lying at the heart of Wirksworth, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Home to two bedrooms including a second-floor double and a single, this property can sleep a total of three guests. The bedrooms are served by a bathroom, and the ground floor can be found hosting a kitchen and a sitting/dining room with electric fire. Unrestricted parking can be found in one of the many local carparks for an additional cost. Beehive is a delightful base from which to explore the Peak District. Please note, this property is considered pet friendly as of 25/03/2022. All new bookings intending on bringing one well behaved dog will only be able to for bookings commencing after 25th March 2022.
