Alona’s breakfast treats were totally unexpected. The fabulous range of fresh, local produce made my stay feel like I was both supporting local shops and also enjoying the tastiest breakfast of eggs, home made bread and local pastries I’ve ever been offered for such an amazing location. The location is perfect - you can walk to the castle and shops in less than two minutes. Knaresborough is such a beautiful town and you can genuinely feel part of it. I could walk to the river, visit pubs as if they were my local and return home to the most luxurious bed and accommodation I could imagine.
