It was spotlessly clean everywhere and just the little things like lovely coasters, crystal glasses flowers and ornaments made it the best we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was superb. Darryl and Sharon are lovely people and you won’t get a better, “Personal response” from anywhere. A beautiful stay there.

This award-winning Victorian guest house offers stunning sea and harbor views, just a few minutes’ walk from Ilfracombe’s beach and town center. The Collingdale Guest House offers an award-winning full English breakfast and free WiFi in public areas. The guest bedrooms are decorated using neutral colors and wooden furnishings. Most are equipped with an private bathroom and they all feature a flat-screen TV, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can relax in Collingdale’s lounge and watch TV or enjoy the picturesque scenic views from the window. Please note that bedrooms are located over three floors with no elevator, so may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. If you would like a room on a lower floor please advise at the time of booking. The on-site bar features a good selection of beers, wines and spirits including malt whiskeys and fine brandies for guests to enjoy. Exmoor National Park is less than a 15-minute drive away and the Ilfracombe Golf Course is just over a mile from the guest house. The major A39 road, which runs into the heart of Cornwall, is less than 15 miles away.
