The farmhouse was so peaceful, set in lovely green fields and located away from buildings and roads. The outside space was great-a large garden and a patio with furniture and bbq. There was plenty of space inside for 7 of us and a large parking area. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

In the rolling North Devon countryside outside Braunton, is the beautiful five-bedroom Braunton Farmhouse; a large, dog and family friendly self-catering cottage, which can comfortably accommodate up to 10. Braunton Farmhouse is the perfect home-away-from-home for large or multiple families, as well as groups of friends. The large and spacious property has been tastefully decorated throughout and benefits from a big garden. The farmhouse features two living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, five first floor bedrooms, including two doubles and three twins, and three bathrooms, two of which are located on the ground floor. Braunton Farmhouse is a wonderful peaceful setting for a holiday, no matter what the weather or the season. The large garden has hosted many family fun rounders and football matches. Swing ball, cricket bat, football post, badminton raquets, paddle bats, children's croquet set are all provided for the guests entertainment at Braunton Farmhouse. A large range of board games for all ages are also provided for rainy days.
Braunton Farmhouse is a five bedroom farmhouse let by Henry and Fiona Bury as a holiday home all year around in the beautiful countryside of North Devon. We recently refurbished the farmhouse and have successfully let it out over the last two years.
IDEAL BEACH HOLIDAY HOUSE: Braunton Farmhouse is a 12- minute drive to Saunton Beach and is perfectly located for Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe beach – all within easy reach, as are the seaside towns and villages of Illfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth and Appledore. WALKING, BIKES AND PUBS: There is stunning scenic walking and bike trails all around Braunton, Saunton and Croyde and Exmoor. The Tarka Trail and National Bike Trails are popular family and experienced cyclists. There are plenty of pubs to refresh in, including the The Rock and The Kings Arms in the next door village of Georgeham, and The Thatch Pub in Croyde. Brauntons famous fish and chip shop is Squires in the heart of the village of Braunton. GOLF AND SURFING: Saunton Sands Golf Club is approximately 10 minutes away, it provides 2 links courses which are both in the country's top 100 courses. Kite Surfing and Paddleboarding are popular on the neighbouring beach of Saunton with its long golden sands. Surfing and surf schools is abundant on all the surrounding beaches. Croyde is known for its bigger waves whilst Saunton and Puttsborough are calmer for first time surfers.
