The Wing at Brook Hall is an ideal home for your break sleeping up to 16 in 8 large and very comfortable double bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms. All fresh luxury bed linen and towels are provided. There is a large farmhouse kitchen with an extendable table for sit down meals and a sitting area with a Smart TV. All electricity use is sustainable and solar powered. There are amazing far reaching views across the Yorkshire countryside even as you soak in the bath- one is a jacuzzi bath. The magnificent large walled garden is for your private relaxation with a FREE hot tub (hired deep cleaned for each booking), sun loungers, outside dining table and chairs, charcoal BBQ, firepit with logs, and plenty of space for dogs and games. The accommodation and walled garden gives you complete privacy to relax and come and go as you please during your break with FREE Wifi throughout including outside. The hard tennis court can also be booked (for free) if you like to play. All fresh luxury bed linen and towels are provided. There is plenty of space to park. All bookings of however many people have the entire accommodation to yourselves. Nothing is shared.
This has been our family home since 1939 but now too big for us so please look after it during your stay as we always have.
The Brook Hall Wing is a perfect place for a holiday. Please see #brookhallstays where we follow all our recommendations nearby, after over 50 year’s of local experience! Please use it to plan things to do during your stay. The excellent White Swan pub in the village is a short walking distance with great food and beer. Tadcaster has 3 breweries and a pint there is cheap. The award winning Askham Bryan Wildlife Park is just 5 miles away. Brook Hall is just 20 minutes drive from historic York (with the Railway and Chocolate Museums, Minster, Jorvik and Shambles), bustling Leeds (Trinity Shopping, Tropical World) or beautiful Harrogate (Harlow Carr and Valley Gardens, Cold Bath Road, Knaresborough) and exactly half way between London and Edinburgh near the A1. Castle Howard is 30 mins and Harewood House is 15 mins. Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley theme parks are 45 mins. It is the ideal location to explore Yorkshire, the Vale of York, the moors and beyond and to stay for weddings at Wighill Priory Cottages, Allerton Park, the Normans, Hornington Manor, Hazelwood Park Hotel, Rudding Park, Howsham Hall etc. There is racing nearby at York, Wetherby, Ripon, Thirsk and Doncaster
