Chestnut Barn is situated within 5 miles of the coast & three National Trust properties (Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall & Sheringham Park). Bewilderwood, the Dinosaur Park and lots of other attractions are within 15 miles as are the Norfolk Broads. The barn is spacious, modern, well presented and is kept well maintained and clean. The property sleeps 10-12 and is fantastic for groups of friends and families to get together. Hen parties are also accepted. There are four large bedrooms (two downstairs and two upstairs), three shower rooms, one bathroom and an open plan living area. Three bedrooms have king size beds and the fourth bedroom has four single beds. There are also two fold out beds which can be used and two cots. All the beds are comfortable and all bedding and towels are provided for your stay. Outside there is a private hot tub, main patio adjacent to the two double patio doors, two additional seating areas, table tennis in the cart shed, enclosed garden which is great for dogs, a sandpit and lots of parking. The kitchen is fully equipped (new for 2023) with an electric range cooker, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, high capacity fridge freezer and lots of storage. There is an additional American fridge freezer in the cart shed. All the essentials are provided at the beginning of your stay (kitchen roll, tea towels, oven gloves, dishwasher tables, salt and pepper, cleaning products, oil, kitchen foil etc). All guests are welcomed with a pack which includes milk, tea bags, ground coffee, locally baked bread and homemade treats. The seating area is comfortable with three sofas, SMART TV, bluetooth speakers, DVD player, wine fridge & an Alexa. The dining table seats 12 +. Two highchairs and stairgates are provided. There are two sets of patio doors from the living area into the garden. Perfect for enjoying BBQs with friends and families. The hot tub is in a secluded position in the garden and can be booked for your stay.

Chestnut Barn is situated close to the village of Aldborough. The village centre is a short walk from the barn. There is a fantastic pub in the village, The Black Boys, which serves food and is only a 5 minute walk. The pub overlooks the traditional village green where cricket is often played in the summer months. Lots of guests enjoy a drink at the pub while watching the cricket in the summer! There is also a village shop with post office and children's playground on the village green. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area. We are happy to provide our recommendations. There are a range of supermarkets close by. Waitrose and Sainsburys are at North Walsham, Tescos is at Aylsham (all within a 15 minute drive) and Morrisons is at Cromer. They all deliver including others further afield such as ASDA. There are so many attractions and things to do in the area. There are three National Trust places close by (Felbrigg, Blickling and Sheringham Park), lots of beaches are only 15 minute drive away and there are fantastic walks and cycle routes on the doorstep. For children (and adults!) there is BeWILDerwood, Pensthorpe, ROAR dinosaur park, Amazona Zoo at Cromer, Wroxham Barns, arcades, slot machines, ice cream, crazy golf all at the coast. There is so much to do and we are more than help you with ideas and inspiration. Lots of sport opportunities too - kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, golf, horse riding all in close proximity to Chestnut Barn.
