The apartment itself was spacious and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean. It was quite cold when we arrived and took a while to heat up. There is underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen facilites were very good. We had a side sea view from the lounge window and it was only a five minute walk down to the seafront.

Property info

Welcome to Church Retreat. Returns to previously with 9.8 STAR rating! This beautiful Victorian apartment is modern and luxurious with restored period features. Tastefully designed with attentive detail and mod-cons such as wine cooler and underflooring heating. It boasts a stunning open plan dining and living space that is light and airy area to relax and socialise. There are two desk working spaces for those needing to catch up on emails. Furnishings are tasteful and modern with thoughtful use of lighting. The Retreat consists of a very spacious master bedroom and a further sizable double bedrooms plus a double sofa bed to accommodates up to six guests in total. Kitchen comes with modern fittings, which is fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, gas hob and self-cleaning oven. It is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. The bathroom is modern with heated towel rail. TV is provided by 55-inch 4k Smart TV with Sound Bar streaming, which allows you to connect to your Amazon / Netflix accounts plus a variety of Freeview channels including BBC iPlayer / ITV/ Chanel4 etc. With free WiFi, this 2-bedroom apartment provides a flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a kitchen with a dishwasher and oven. Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. We are in a fantastic location 2 minutes walk from the heart of St Leonards, Warriors Square, beach front and train station. The boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops are all a short stroll away. St Leonards is a trendy and unbelievably pretty seaside town 1.5 hours from London, Residents & tourists & guests alike love the area for its bohemian lifestyle.
