You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Five minutes walk to mainline train station and Hippodrome Theatre, and 15 minute stroll into the busy market town with a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, Vue Cinema and Dolphin Leisure Centre. Bus stop 50 yards from property.
I have worked in the hospitality and marketing industry for several years. For the last 6 years I have run The Springfield pub in Darlington with my husband Russ and daughter Michelle. I am now venturing into the world of Airbnb and I'm looking forward to meeting new people.
Residential cul-de-sac set back from Neasham Road. One minute walk to local shops & takeaways. There are bus stops outside into the main town. It is a 5 minute drive into town where you will find a good range of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, indoor market area and Dolphin Leisure centre and Vue Cinema. Market days are Monday and Saturday. Parking is free for the first 2 hours in the Council car parks. If you are travelling by train the mainline train station is less than a 5 minute walk away. All the main cities in the north-eastern region (Leeds, York, Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland) are accessible by train within 1 hour. Trains to Kings Cross are 2 hours 20 mins and Edinburgh 2 hours. For those who enjoy walking, the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Durham Dales, Northumbrian and Yorkshire Coast are all within 1 hour drive. The Lake District is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away.
