Rufus Cottage is a beautiful, recently renovated, cottage situated within the New Forest National Park. It is ideal for couples, families, contractors, relocations, working away, insurance usage, you name it we have you covered. Walks, running or cycling in the Forest start from the front door, Step back in time and discover the charm and natural beauty of this unique destination. The New Forest pub is 30 yards from the cottage so if you don’t want to cater every day the option of bar or restaurant service is always available. Paultons Park and Lepe beach are a short drive away. Longdown Activity Farm (1.5Km as the crow flies), The New Forest Wildlife Centre (2.5Km) can be reached by car or an easy cycle. Walk or cycle to the Drift Inn at Beaulieu Road Station (4.5Km as the crow flies). Lyndhurst is just 4Km up the road.

You can tour the forest, getting on and off this bus and it will bring you home at the end of the day. If you like golf, the New Forest Golf club allows non-members to pay and play, but beware, this is a forest course and you will find ponies and cows on the fairway. The club is a couple of miles up the road towards Lyndhurst.
