PLEASE NOTE DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN VILLA 2 ON THE UPPER FLOOR "TWO BEDROOM HOUSE". DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE GROUND FLOOR VILLA 1 "HOLIDAY HOME". Craggan House is a turn of the century property once owned by the Local Lord which has been tastefully transformed into 2 luxury villas and boasts panoramic views of the Loch and mountains. Each villa comprises 2 bedrooms with shower rooms (one large family wet room) and sofa bed and comfortably sleeps 6. There is a large kitchen, dining area and lounge with 2 outside sitting areas (raised deck and terrace overlooking large gardens). There is private off road parking. There is disability access. Craggan House Villas are located in Lochearnhead which is nestled within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and allows access as a gateway to the Highlands. Lochearnhead is the gateway to the Highlands of Scotland. It is 20 minutes to Green Welly Tyndrum, 15 minutes to the villages of Callander and Killin. Fort William, Glen Coe and Oban are within 1 hours drive north. The property is 1 hours drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Private secure off road parking is available outside the villas.

There are so many things to do in this area of Scotland. Visitors can spend a day visiting small villages, enjoy cruising on a Loch in a historic steamship, rent a canoe or kayak, see Rob Roy’s gravestone, go climbing, biking, fishing and skiing is also close by in the Winter months. Even go wild at an aerial adventure park or hidden highland Safari. If you enjoy hiking, there are a number of short and moderate hiking paths to enjoy here. Scotland’s popular long distance paths which you could combine with a visit are the West Highland Way, Three Lochs Way and Rob Roy Way. Or just relax and watch the sunset and the wildlife go by. You could see a variety of wildlife such as Red Deer, Golden Eagle, Red Squirrel and Osprey. Loch Lomond itself is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area. You really will be spoilt for choice.
