This very newly renovated property known as ‘The West Wing’ has rural views and open fields to enjoy and look upon in all directions. If seclusion is what you seek then look no further. If the thought of seeing or hearing British wildlife up close, then go no further. If the budding ornithologist in you is wanting to test your knowledge and understanding of ‘birds’ then stay right here! No, I mean it, Stay here! We have everything in place to help make your stay with us enjoyable, relaxing and safe. 🫶🏻 You will have your own personal parking space during your stay. You will also have the chance to enjoy a private outdoor space and patio. There are a number of byway's, footpaths and lanes close by so walking boots or Wellies are a must. ‘The West Wing’ has many creature comforts that we know will make your stay comfortable.
We love being in the countryside. We Love our native wildlife and trees. David enjoys trout fishing at the nearby lakes. As well as Cycling along the lanes and byways. Salisbury Plain also holds many discoverable secrets! Amanda’s passion is baking and home producing. She enjoys running the well oiled wheel, of family life. Amanda’s aim is always making sure family , friends and guest have all they need in order to have an enjoyable time. The Moore family have their own Dogs, Cats and a rabbit as well as gerbils. David and Amanda have a young teenage daughter who is very much into Horses, animals and art. She’s also quite fond of running and jumping hurdles. Growing Home produce and running a construction company as well as charity work… so life is pretty busy … But it wouldn’t be had any other way!
‘The West Wing’ @ Doels Farm is in a remote / rural location. With No immediate neighbours. There is an abundance of wildlife on our doorstep. Including Badgers, Birds of Prey, Deer, foxes, rabbits, frogs and field mice as well as being on a migratory path for many birds. There are also hedgerow birds. Binoculars are a must! Ornithologists would love this location. Even on Salisbury Plain which is very near to our location is abundant in wildlife and birds travelling from across Europe and Africa.
