We are a family run bed and breakfast. Our mother retired ln 2016 when m sister and I took over run the business. Our names are Quita and Isla Urquhart we have lived in Drumnadrochit all our lives. The set up is a little different at the moment as my sister has a young family to raise so Islas partner Paul helps withe runnngs now. Drumbuie Farm bed and breakfast over looks the farm and Loch Ness. All our rooms have a unique style but throughout the property the general feel is very Scottish! Our conservatory has the most stunning views of our farm, fields and Loch Ness and our hairy coos. We have diversified the B&B into a tearoom/gift shop so the living area and gift area is only accessible until 6pm.
We are excited to welcome you to our traditional working farm. A wee helpful hint is that we are not a petting zoo but we do our best to make sure our guests to see our cows up close. It depends on the time of year as we must rotate which fields our cows are in to ensure the grass has time to grow. The cows are not domesticated so do not appreciate being touched but they will never say no to you hand feeding them a wee treat.
