A stunning detached contemporary home featuring light and spacious living areas, located on the edge of the popular town of Gillingham include an attached annex and shepherds hut. We can arrange the following rooms for large groups; 1. Main upstairs Superking bedroom with ensuite. 2. SuperKing room with Jack and Jill Ensuite 3. Double room with Jack and Jill Ensuite 4. Superking Bedroom 5. Office (can set up a kind bed with Simba mattress on request) Downstairs connected Annex with kitchen and bathroom 6. King Bedroom 7. Small double sofa bed in lounge Outside Shepherds Hut (5m from kitchen door) Double bed with kitchenette and en-suite.
I am mother of 3 children, my husband and I moved to the West Country from Melbourne Australia. We live in a beautiful country town in the Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset borders and embrace the country living.
The property is conveniently situated on the north eastern side of Gillingham in a semi-rural location but with close access to all amenities. Gillingham benefits from a mainline railway which serves London Waterloo and the south west. Other communication links include the A303 a few miles to the north. The town centre of Gillingham provides shops and services for most everyday needs with a variety of supermarkets including Waitrose. This part of North Dorset enjoys wonderful scenery and picturesque villages with many miles of public footpaths and bridleways from which to enjoy the beautiful countryside. It is also ideal for a variety of other rural pursuits such as cycling fishing and golf, with racing at Bath, Salisbury and Wincanton. There are several excellent pubs and restaurants in the vicinity as well as popular family attractions such as Longleat, Old Wardour Castle, Stourhead and many more.
