This is a spare room in a family house, with the family present (not a hotel or B and B). It is close to the Manchester City stadium. The guestroom is on the second floor and a front door key is provided allowing visitor to come and go. There is a communal car park behind the address where the guest can park (there was parking on the road, although there were no restrictions this seemed to have elicited complaints from the neighbour opposite about getting their car off the drive. In my opinion this complaint was totally unjustified as there is more than enough room.) The room had ensuite and was very comfortable with TV. The street was very quiet. The walk to Manchester Piccadilly was about 25 minutes (although there were plenty of bus stops on the road.) Although I drove to Manchester I then did not need to use my car (attractions like the Manchester United stadium and Imperial War Museum North easily accessible by Metro.) Very pleased.
