The Manor House is impressive upon entry and the room was large, well appointed and comfortable. Our room was up a separate staircase near the kitchen, but we did not hear any extra noises as a result. The room had a massive fireplace that's probably very nice in winter (this was June) and there was a couch for television viewing away from the bed. We were able to stream a movie one evening. The manor serves a hearty breakfast but we did not care for the dinner menu provided. Downtown Settle has very narrow streets and no parking, so we went to other restaurants for dinner. Great sightseeing opportunities in nearby villages and the famous train viaduct from "All Creatures Great and Small. We also rode the small train from Settle to Carlise one afternoon and evening for wonderful views.

Built in 1841, this Grade II listed building has retained many period features, with converted and tastefully furnished interiors creating the warm and friendly atmosphere. It offers an ample car park free of charge and also free WiFi. Located on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Falcon Manor is an ideal base for discovering the area. The Ingfield Room is a tastefully appointed main breakfast room which enjoys one of the best views in Yorkshire and offers exceptionally high standards of cuisine and comfort.
