Alde Garden is a tiny, quiet wildlife garden in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, yet just 20 mins drive from coastal locations such as Aldeburgh, Southwold & Dunwich. Accommodation is set amongst trees & wildflowers, and each has its own private secluded space beside it. The site is very environmentally friendly, and suits those looking for a break away from it all. There is no electricity in the garden, except for a small area near the toilets where guests will find a fridge, microwave, charging point & washing machine. There are clean indoor showers and toilets, as well as an outdoor 'jungle shower' and 'treebog' composting loo. There is a lovely firepit where guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of a starlit sky amongst the company of other guests. Alongside the garden is The Sweffling White Horse - also run by the owners of Alde Garden. The pub is a small, award-winning alehouse selling locally produced ales and other drinks and snacks. The gypsy caravan itself has a pull-out double bed, and a small bed underneath suitable for small children. It has solar powered fairylights and a woodburning stove. Next to the caravan is a shelter for cooking and eating - with a gas hob. Bedding is not included - please bring your own.
