Leyburn is a busy town known as the "Gateway to Wensleydale." It is dominated by its large market square, which still has a busy market every Friday. From its western edge, you can see beautiful views of the Dale. With its many craft shops, art galleries, and tea rooms, the town has a lot to offer. In this beautiful area, there are many nice walks for people of all skill levels, as well as charming villages to visit.
