Everything was perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Their onsite bar and restaurant was warm and welcoming. The owner even put the AFL (Australian Rules Football) on the screen the following morning after breakfast. The surrounding area was picturesque and full of history. This was an impromptu trip after visiting the surrounds which was connected to family history, and we got far more than we bargained for with this hotel and Llantrisant in general.

We enjoyed our stay in general, dinner was nice with plant-based options and the beer garden was lovely. Staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful in the morning when we left something in the room.

We loved this off-the-beaten-path pub and small B&B (just three rooms; book early if this appeals), In the heart of an a rural village known for iron and slate mining, this village is adorable and nestled in the outskirts of Cardiff. We found the staff friendly, particularly Adam and the owners took much pride in their establishment. The rooms were well-equipped, quiet, comfortable. Like old world pub style, we chatted with other patrons as though old friends. Would have stayed more nights if our travels allowed. Pub food and breakfast were delicious and artfully presented.

Very easy to find. Very clean. Staff was soo nice. I had the best sleep. The restaurant was Indian food. AMAZING. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is stunning but it's a shame all the houses have been built around it because they've lost all the beautiful views of the fields. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best we've ever had & the staff were lovely. Gorgeously decorating for Christmas & the fires were roaring

    The old town part of Llantrisant is very historical and the Bear Inn is right in the centre with interesting walks close by and lovely views. The rooms are modern and set in a delightful private courtyard where you can drink your morning coffee, and in the evening watch the sun go down with a night cap. The owners are helpful and attentive, and the pub itself is just like pubs used to be, and quiet. The owner does the cooking and the meals were first class.

    The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, with 3 lakes with the possibility of fishing. The restaurant looked lovely, We didn't try the kitchen as saturday the restaurant was closed and on sunday, we decided not to eat as we were not sure we will be awake. The staff were very kind and call me to let me know about the closure of the restaurant.

    The location was fabulous in the lovely town of Llantrisant; Close enough to the common to give the dog a good walk and close to some decent bars. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very clean. Perfect for us.
