Innisfree Cottage is loved by those who enjoy peace and tranquility without being too far off the beaten track. Our guests continually remark on how relaxed they are whilst staying with us and yet can still enjoy the beautiful countryside without having to drive for miles.
As keen walkers and amateur cyclists we endeavor to help whenever we can with advice and recommendations on walking tracks and cycle paths. In Autumn and Winter months our aim is to provide a warm and homely place to return to after a day out in the Peak District. Whilst the rooms in our property are not huge they are welcoming and we know that its the little things like chocolates, fresh flowers and a relaxed atmosphere that can make such a difference to a few days away from the stresses of life.
If all you need right now are long walks in beautiful countryside right from the doorstep if preferred then Innisfree Cottage is ideally situated. There are numerous walks in every direction straight from the front door. However if you wish to travel a little further the delights of Edale, Mam tor, Kinder Scout, Castleton to name but a few are only 20 minutes drive away. The Tissington and High Peak trails are stunning if you fancy a bike ride without the traffic. We can personally recommend both having cycled on both trails in the past week 20th and 27th May 2020. Picnic sites are in abundance and the views are never-ending. Ice cream or coffees and snacks available at Parsley Hay car park. An excellent day out!
