We would like to welcome you to Lady Florence. A unique houseboat, located on the River Medway in Maidstone, Kent. A family run self catering holiday rental, where you can come away to relax and unwind from everyday life. Lady Florence is surrounded by breath-taking views of Allington Castle, in a peaceful location. Is the perfect place to stay for a romantic weekend, honeymoon, birthday or a luxury breakaway. The main bedroom has a small double bed, smart tv, DVD player, wardrobe and large glass sliding doors allow you to look out on the day and watch as the passing boats sail down the river. Alternatively, step out on to the end terrace and take a seat at the table and chairs to enjoy your morning cuppa. The kitchen area is fully equipped for all your self catering needs. Equipment includes an electric hob & oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and a luxury coffee machine. The bathroom has a full sized shower with a powerful shower head. A pull out sofa bed which is best situated for two small children or one adult. The lounge area is fitted with a Smart TV, loaded with Netflix/Prime. Also you are able to fish from the end terraces or towpath.
Lady Florence is located in Maidstone, Kent. It is surrounded by local tourist attractions, parks, restaurants and bars. The local town is only a 30 minute walk and follows a scenic route along the towpath. The nearest pub is a Beefeater called Malta Inn. It is 5 minute walk away and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a lovely outside seating area that overlooks Allington Lock. Leeds castle is 8.4 miles away, around 16 minute drive and is a lovely day out and offers many activities throughout the year. Kent Life is a vibrant and fun destination with whole host of family friendly attractions across its 28 acre site, offering a great day out for everyone. Allows you to learn Kent's history, get up close with farm animals, or simply burn off some steam, this is a great place to be. Is around a 5 minute walk from Lady Florence Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre is in Maidstone. Includes an eight-screen ODEON Cinema, a gymnasium and pool, and an 18-lane bowling alley, along with a choice of restaurants. Around a 9 minute drive from Lady Florence.
