This pretty farmhouse exudes rural country charm along with modern luxury style. Beautifully appointed with generous open plan living downstairs, it has four comfortable ensuite bedrooms upstairs. Set on a country Estate on the southern fringes of the Scottish Highlands, you get stunning views over the heather-clad hills. A host of fantastic sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities await guests on the Estate and nearby, including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing. This traditional farmhouse dates from the 18th century and has been wonderfully restored and recently updated into a modern country retreat. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences as well as a range cooker and induction hob. The adjoining dining area makes for easy entertaining for up to eight people. The lounge area is perfect for relaxing with comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and a wood burner for colder days. Upstairs, there are four beautifully appointed double bedrooms all with super king-size beds and modern en-suite facilities. There are incredible south facing views from the property overlooking pretty countryside. Flagstone floors in many parts of the property make it practical to live in and outside there is ample room for car parking. There is an attractive, enclosed garden and equipment such as BBQs, garden furniture, cots, private chef, etc. are all available on request. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed. Known for its beautiful scenery, the area also boasts excellent sporting and recreational opportunities all year round. These include high quality driven and walked up grouse and game shooting, first class pheasant and partridge shooting, red, roe and fallow deer stalking, salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Tay and River Almond, and clay-pigeon shooting. The town of Perth is just 12 miles away with good shopping, restaurants, sports centres and a theatre and concert hall. Road connections are excellent with nearby motorway access to the cities of Edinburgh (57 miles) and Glasgow (64 miles). Perth train station offers regular services to Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London (including the Caledonian Sleeper service) and Perth airport offers private air travel.
