Built in 1896, this attractive Victorian house is full of character. Bijou has just two charming, light and airy bedrooms to ensure guests have a relaxing stay in our family home. The double room has a small en-suite shower room and the twin has a private shower room across the hallway. Bathrobes supplied. A freshly, home cooked breakfast using local produce where possible, is served each morning between 8.30-9.30. Bijou is situated on the edge of the village, just 10 mins walk to the coast, with footpaths only meters away from the house you can start to explore this amazing area from the doorstep. There are several good places to eat in the village (booking advised) including a thatched country pub serving food within easy walking distance from property. We have onsite parking available. Please check the properties check in and check out times to ensure the property is suitable for your needs. Additional note: If you are planning on visiting any of the local eateries it is advised that you pre book to avoid disappointment. Please note: THE TWIN ROOM has a private shower room across the hallway, it IS NOT ENSUITE. Check in for this property is between 4-6pm

Just 10 minutes walk from the property is Lulworth cove with a further walk to the famous Durdle door. The pretty picture postcard village of West Lulworth is lined with thatched cottages running down to the sea. Bovington tank museum is 10 minutes drive away, as is monkey world. The historical ruins of Corfe castle is 20 minutes drive, Swanage, Brownsea Island and Studland beach 30 minutes drive. Weymouth and Dorchester 25 minutes drive away.
