My husband and I only stayed for 1 night, but I wished we had stayed longer! This hotel felt luxurious yet remained cozy. We really enjoyed the bar and the surrounding town!

Staff were friendly, conscientious & efficient. Location & setting of the hotel is lovely.

People were very friendly and helpful. Great hall was beautiful

The Maryculter House is situated beautifully alongside the River Dee. Not only was the landscape breathtaking on its own, but the grounds were also well manicured. This place was full of hidden gems and history! The room was well stocked with anything you could need, and the friendly staff went above and beyond! After dinner in Aberdeen, we spent the remainder of our evening enjoying a drink by the fire in the lounge. This stay was definitely a highlight of our trip! When we are back in Scotland, we will definitely be back! If you love history, waking up to views of sunrise over the river, and want to visit Dunnottar Castle just 20 minutes away, stay here!! You will not be disappointed!

everything! location. scenery. comfort. food. staff. wonderful place

Historic charm. The Bathroom was lovely, floors had radiant heat and a working towel warmer. Vanity was thoughtful, so were the robes. Beautiful area!

We loved that the doggos could come along , the rooms were spacious and views beautiful , staff all extremely lovely and accommodating. The building is absolutely beautiful , would love to stay again and dine in , with it being a work trip it was a late arrival and early dash. But the grounds are stunning from what we saw. We would definitely recommend and will come back again. Thank you 🧡

The building and grounds are lovely. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

This hotel was ten minutes from the heart of Aberdeen and about fifteen minutes from Stonehaven/Donnottar Castle, but was in a quiet, private location, which was outstanding. It was along the river, which was beautiful, and connected to a historic site. Inside was decorated impeccably. It was like stepping back in time, and yet completely clean with modern day accommodations. The all marble bathroom with the giant soaking tub, rain shower head, etc. was amazing. The food was delicious, and the free breakfast was top notch. The parking was also great. Everything was exceptional.

staff were exceptional - friendly and very responsive
