The beautiful, quiet setting and birdsong. Lovely being away from noise and enjoying the sounds of nature. The huts were so clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was good. I have always wanted to stay in a shepherds hut and it exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go again.

We very much enjoyed our visit to this lovely town with all its independent shops and lovely nostalgic 'village' feel- such relief from the endless "Shopping Centres' with their bland offerings. There is a great selection of places to eat and the thriving Riverside Theatre/Cinema where we saw an arthouse film. We walked the River Deben: to see the Longship Project and excellent FREE Museum, then on for a day out at fascinating Sutton Hoo. Buses were a welcome surprise with easy trips to Aldeburgh and beyond. We travelled to/from by Train- excellent service and we loved the Station building with its thriving small businesses.

Friendly and sociable little market town.
Friendly and sociable little market town. Lovely walks with a good comfortable vibe even at night, felt safe. So many nice places to stop and sit and people smile which is a good indicator of the warm feel you get being there. It was a late autumn stay this time so next time I’d like to come in the springtime.

A lovely area with lots to do and see and lots of places to eat and drink, Woodbridge town centre is pretty and has a range of shops, lots of lovely countryside around and bigger towns in easy reach if you want a bigger variety for shopping
Lovely setting with a holiday atmosphere and a great view. The trains did not disturb, and everything worked in the room. Windows easy to open & close, Great TV with remote not worn. Coffee / tea & biscuits. A chair & desk. Plenty of storage & a sensible size room, comfortable bed & good ensuite. A brilliant breakfast but only available after 0900 hours which suited me, but may not suit everyone. And the car parking works really well. I won't hesitate to return.
Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and great shower in the en suite. Really friendly host, very welcoming and accommodating. Good English food with generous portions both evening meal and breakfast. Check timings for both. Right by the A12 which suited our journey but as expected in this location, some traffic noise. This is a great little hotel and reasonably priced.
Fantastic modern apartment situated in a great location in Woodbridge. The kitchen and lounge area is great and provided a comfortable living space during our break. The apartment is well equipped and provides a home from home! The wharf area below is very nice with the coffee shops and restaurants and a great place for walks along the waterside.
Our room was very large and the super large bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, normal check out was 11am but they kindly extended this to midday, all in all an excellent hotel which I would highly recommend, great location if you need to be in the heart of Woodbridge *****
The location was good, close to Melton and Woodbridge. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Used the swimming pool once and it was ok. We felt they should have cordoned off a swimming lane for those people who were obviously members and didn't like hotel residents using the pool!
A small but generally well appointed bungalow in fantastic, quiet location less than 0.5 mile walk from the river and a local restaurant/pub. Short drive to lots of good local towns like Woodbridge and attractions such as Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park.
A comfortable room with plenty of breakfast options. Parking along a side street wasn't an issue during our stay and the staff were all very friendly. Very close to the thoroughfare for a quick walk to the shops, restaurants and estuary.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Comfortable and clean room.
Very good food with excellent options both for breakfast and dinner.
Good location in centre of Woodbridge.
Able to book a parking space in hotel car park.
Absolutely loved the quiet rural location deep in the Suffolk countryside. The accommodation is spacious and very well appointed. Perfect for our visit. Hosts are super helpful and on site if you need anything.
We stayed in Woodbridge to visit Sutton Hoo. We had a great visit and found more we wish to visit in the area. We will come back to explore some more and stay at the Cherry Tree again.
Good location, quiet yet close to the center. Beautifully decorated, small but pleasant garden. Comfortable bed. Good WiFi, you will find it in the second bedroom.
The staff were fantastic. The location is perfect to explore the Suffolk coast and surrounding areas. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast even better.
Wonderful atmospheric Tudor building with modern spa. Lovely grounds. Excellent food. Good location for Suffolk coast attractions. Friendly efficient staff.
Very convenient location, easy to find. Attractive apartment, had almost everything I needed. Delightful Suffolk town and glorious surrounding countryside.
We have visited the cottage quite a few times now as we visit family in Woodbridge . The cottage is in a lovely location so near to everything and so cosy
