I really enjoyed my stay, the host was very welcoming and the place was very close to the local amenities. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated creating a very relaxing atmosphere for a wonderful night's sleep.

Originally built in 1873 by a Sea Captain "Ocean Terraces" was a lodging house and played host to many work men that were in the area. The property later became the village Post Office. Over the last 2 years No.123 The Old Post House has had a full renovation in order to develop it into a stylish Bed and Breakfast. Each room has an individual and stylish interior and includes a spacious ensuite bathroom. We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy your stay.
Hello! I am the proud owner of No.123 and can't wait to welcome you. With the help of my partner Jason and my Mum (as well as other family members along the way!) it as been a labour of love turning this old Victorian terrace into the stylish B&B that you see today. I have always enjoyed hosting events and parties but after working away for many years and staying in some rather horrendous accommodation I decided I would like a B & B of our own, where I could provide people with a comfortable stay whether they were working away, attending events, visiting family in the area or simply wanting to explore gorgeous East Yorkshire. I love great food, better wine, horses, skiing and any other adrenaline fuelled sports! So if your looking for a great restaurant or would like to arrange some special in house dining please just give me a shout, I would be more than happy to help!
Newport is a small village at the end of the M62 East. It is he home of 3 pubs, 2 shops and multiple takeaways! Despite being close to the motorway there are some stunning rural walks and the area is renowned for many cycle routes. We are only a short distance from the Wolds Way and Transpennine Trial , again the perfect start for some outdoor adventures! The small historic town of Howden is less than a 10 minute drive away and here you can find artisan shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Other places nearby include: Beverley- 20/25mins Hull- 20 mins York- 45 mins Leeds- 45mins Scarborough- 1hour
