Beautifully renovated property with style, comfort and every modern day convenience thought of. But best of all is the location, paddle boards stayed up all week, long days and evening drinks on the beach.....perfect.

    “The location was amazing. Very close to a lovely beach/shop/fish and chip shop. The lost gardens of heligan are also nearby. The house was extremely suitable for young children and we had a fantastic stay.”

Oakroyd is an enchanting two bedroom detached cottage set in its own grounds with private south facing gardens. A true seaside home, you simply walk 150 yds to get to the beautifully safe, family friendly beach. Oakroyd really is in the heart of the village with all amenities less than 150 meters away. Yet being slightly elevated and accessed via a short private pathway, it maintains a feeling of discreet isolation. Unlimited high speed broadband is available and the driveway is suitable for two cars. EV charging is available by prior agreement. Oakroyd really is the perfect location for a family holiday.
I grew up in the wonderful village of Gorran Haven and enjoyed everything that this very special coastal village has to offer. If I can help with any questions about the property, the village or surrounding areas, please just let me know.
Gorran Haven beach provides beautifully safe bathing and rock-pooling for all the family. Amenities include: Chip shop; bar; boutique hotel & restaurant; beach front cafe; kayak and paddle board hire; area of outstanding natural beauty; situated on the South West coast path; seasonal entertainment. Places to eat in the village (seasonal timings vary): The Haven Takeaway (fish & chip shop) Llawnroc Hotel, bar and restaurant Barley Sheaf pub Property welcome pack provides additional recommendations outside of the village. Oakroyd is just yards away from the South West Coast Path and there are many established footpaths in all directions.
