59 year old, animal loving newly weds Max and Phil are warm friendly people people. They enjoy a laugh and have made many friends in the short time of hosting. They thrive to give an outstanding experience at Ocean Retreat Norfolk. Tea & coffee is available in all rooms, with fresh milk kept in a small fridge on the landing. Each of the rooms has a table and chairs and a full cooked breakfast is served to your room which you can eat whilst in your PJ's.

Property info

A beautiful semi detached coastal Victorian property with 3 x 5* dog friendly rooms all with wonderful sea views and sunsets. The property is 5 minutes drive to a secret dog walking beach. Maxine and Phil are huge animal lovers. They have a quirky but stylish taste and this shows in the decorating and dressing of the property. The king room is the largest of the rooms with a king size Victorian style bed and a William Morris "Strawberry Thief" design has been used in the dressing of this room. All of the rooms have quality bedding and beds and you can be sure of a comforting night sleep. We can accommodate most breakfasts on request when booking. At the moment we have 1 shower and toilet available for 2 rooms to share. The King room has its own bathroom next door to it. In addition, we now have a bar onsite. You can drink in the sun, or under an umbrella, overlooking the sea.

Neighborhood info

Ocean Retreat Norfolk is situated in Trimingham which is a coastal village. We have beautiful country walks on our doorstep and a secret dog friendly beach just 5 minutes drive away. Cromer is only 4 miles away north and Mundesley which is a pretty Victorian seaside village is a couple of minutes in the opposite direction. There are bus stops close to Ocean Retreat to take you to Cromer and the Amazona Zoo (which we love) on the CH2 and the CH1 from Cromer, spans the coast from Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney for seal watching.
