The property was very modern and had everything we needed. The location was great for facilities and local walks. I've read that people complained about parking but the address clearly stated there was not any outside and that you could park near by. The owner also messaged me days before hand to re-affirm this. Just to add there is no back yard due to the style of house but that can't be helped. This is just in case you have dogs. We just walked ours out on the lead outside for them to do their business. One thing I would add would be netting or blinds in the windows but only a small issue. I didn't find the bed to be an issue as raised by others. All in all it's a great place to say and I'd recommend it.

Situated in the Peak District and centrally positioned in New Mills, 200-year-old, self-contained stone cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property offers convenient access to local amenities such as pubs, shops, and restaurants, as well as a variety of outdoor activities. Nestled beside the river, it provides easy reach to attractions like The Torrs, Sett Valley trail, and the Millenium walkway, along with several towns and landmarks in the Peak District. Just a 2-minute walk from the train station, the apartment provides direct services to Manchester (under 30 minutes) and Sheffield. The two spacious bedrooms feature one King size 4-poster bed and one bunk bed compromising of 2 singls. complemented by a lounge, kitchen, and a family bathroom with a separate shower. Guests can enjoy stunning views across the Torrs Valley and the river, along with off-street parking. This property benefits from central heating, smoke alarms, and a carbon monoxide alarm. Wifi is available throughout, and the twin bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV. Towels and linen are provided, making the property ideal for couples, families, or small groups. Pets are considered, and while parties, hen or stag events are generally not accepted, special event inquiries can be discussed with the hosts before booking. Given the close proximity to neighboring properties, guests are kindly requested to be considerate, minimizing noise at night and refraining from engaging in anti-social behavior.
