A warm welcome to 'Malt House', a charming 17th-century cottage located in the picturesque village of Aston Munslow, near Craven Arms. This sympathetically restored and extended property offers a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal base for your countryside retreat. It also has a large 6-person hot tub to indulge and relax in after exploring the local area! As you enter the property, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen and breakfast area, perfect for whipping up a hearty breakfast to start your day. The large dining room features an impressive Inglenook fireplace and a wood burning stove (Please bring your own logs, firelighters and kindling). The sitting room has comfortable seating and an upright piano, perfect for relaxing evenings spent playing music or enjoying a good book. The adjacent toilet and shower room adds convenience and comfort to your stay. On the first floor, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own unique charm and storage for your belongings. The first bedroom boasts a double bed, while the other two feature twin beds, offering ample space for up to six guests. The bathroom on this floor features a bath, bidet, and toilet, providing a relaxing oasis for a long soak after a day of exploring the stunning countryside. Outside, you'll find a lovely garden area with outdoor seating, perfect for soaking up the fresh country air and taking in the views of the rolling hills. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Malt House is based in the lovely village of Aston Munslow, Craven Arms, just 9 miles North of Ludlow, where you will find a stunning Medieval castle, artisan markets, shops, boutiques and restaurants galore. The view over the Shropshire hills is beautiful and you can even sit in our private hot tub and view our lovely maintained gardens. There are two fabulous pub / restaurants close by. The Swan is a 1 minute walk from the cottage and The Crown is in the next hamlet, a few minutes away. There is a local shop in Aston Munslow selling local produce, and also a garage (which just sells diesel). There are lots of great villages and old market towns to explore within a few miles. Ludlow is only 15 minutes by car and there are a multitude of local pubs and restaurants within a small radius of the cottage. We welcome your well behaved pets downstairs (and off the furniture please) at a cost of twenty pounds per pet which should be paid with your initial booking. There are large enclosed gardens which are safe for children and pets alike. We have a cot and high chair available on request at twenty pounds for both (we have to deliver them to the property). We advise that there is strictly no smoking or vaping inside the house. If you do wish to smoke outside, please discard any waste responsibly in the black bin by the entrance.
