Perfect choice of breakfast and evening meal.
All staff gave very friendly, calm service, and sought to meet our need for less stairs: gave us room on the lower floor when it became available - to cater for my partner's arthritic hip.
Enjoyed the view of the sea,
Very roomy, extremely comfortable bed, with lots of pillows and cushions,
No hassle to leave by 10 am!

Our room was "The Suite". It was very spacious with an excellent view of the harbour. Bed and pillows were perfect. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly and efficient. I had a bath every night, very relaxing all round.

The property I booked was outside the town of St Ives in a...
The property I booked was outside the town of St Ives in a place called Consol. However, was advertised as being in St Ives. There was builders rubble in the parking space. I was told that my 'private entrace' was through the french windows of the property and I would not, as a single traveller, have felt secure in such a situation. I did not stay at this property and would be pleased to receive a refund please.

What a picturesque town with outstanding natural beauty and...
What a picturesque town with outstanding natural beauty and so much to see in the way of art and ceramics. It does get very crowded during holiday times so I would recommend going out of season. Highlights include the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Studio, the various galleries and the beaches. The walking could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility but there are ways around that in terms of getting transport. A really stunning spot. Plenty of excellent places to eat from beach cafes to independent bakeries and coffee shops to fish restaurants. I’ve been coming to St Ives for 50 years so I’m slightly biased but it is a beautiful place with 5 beaches. Numerous good places to eat. Lovely little shops with different crafty bits in. The view was outstanding… across to St Ives, and in the distance Godrevy Lighthouse and Gwithian beach. Had double windows in the room with settee from where we could enjoy the view. The bed was superbly comfortable. Some might find the hotel slightly old fashioned - but for us that was part of its charm. Staff were genuinely lovely. Food good quality and nicely cooked ( not posh haute cuisine but plentiful and good). Suited us very well.

The hotel was right there above the station, this really worked! Our room was comfortable too and I've got to say that the staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was small but the bed very comfortable & spacious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious & plenty of choice. The host’s are very friendly & suggested lots of attractions to visit in the area. I recommend this B & B when visiting Cornwall.

I arrived at night and in the morning was surprised by the view. It was a brand-new room. Hotel also has a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.
